Brian Kelch

My name is Brian Kelch. I am the owner and operator of Kiddie Kingdom Daycare. My mother started the daycare when I was in fifth grade, so I have been a part of Kiddie Kingdom most of my life. I started working with school-age children in 1997 as a part-time job while attending college. I went to college for Business Management and Early Childhood Education. I became the Director of the Lenoir City location in 2001 and started to run both locations in 2004 when my mother passed away. I am married now with four children of my own, which keeps me very busy, but I also enjoy volunteering with the children in our community. I coach football, baseball, and basketball, which are my passions. I love sports and enjoy teaching children about the games and working hard to reach their goals.

Kelsey

Hi, my name is Kelsey, and I am 20 years old. I live in Loudon, TN. I have a twin sister, two other sisters, and two brothers. I have worked at daycare for eight months now. I am CPR certified and am currently in the TECTA training.

Sena Larson

My name is Sena Larson, and I'm 37 years old. I am the assistant Director for Kiddie Kingdom Daycare, and this year marks my 11th year. I've loved each part of my journey. I'm married to my best friend, Josh Larson, and we have eight beautiful children together.

I'm CPR and First Aid-Certified, as well as trained in TECTA along with administration training. I love working with kids, being a positive role model, and making a difference in each one of their lives.

Crystal Johnson

My name is Crystal Johnson, and I am 36 years old. I graduated from Lenoir City High School in 2002. My family and I live in Lenoir City. I am happily married to my hubby for 13 years. We have two beautiful children that are ten and six years old. I started working at Kiddie Kingdom Daycare in Lenoir City in March of 2016.

I am also certified in First Aid and CPR. I love working with kids because they are so smart and bright, and I love teaching them new things. I am a lead teacher for the Little Pre-School. I am presently in TECTA training and pursuing my CDA.

Jessica Bowman

My name is Jessica Bowman, and I am 36 years old. I am married to a wonderful man named Chris and the mother of 14-year-old twin girls and a 6-year-old girl. I graduated from Bandys High School in Catawba, NC, in 2000.

I received my Tennessee Early Childhood Program Administrator Credential through TECTA and Tennessee State University and became a Child Development Associate in December 2010 through Roane State Community College. I also received my technical certificate at Roane State Community College in 2014.

I have been working at Kiddie Kingdom Daycare since 2002. I am the site director for the Kiddie Kingdom Daycare in Lenoir City. I also work in the Kids Ministry on Sunday mornings and AWANA on Sunday nights at Refuse Church. I love working in childcare because I realize that learning is very important before children reach school-age.

I love knowing that I play a huge role in laying a foundation of skills for these children that they will carry through life.

Connie Hicks

My name is Connie Hicks, and I am 53 years old. I have worked in childcare for 35 years. I am a lead teacher for the little infant. I have three daughters and three grandchildren. My children and grandchildren are my life.

I have my CDA and am working towards my technical degree. I work with infants and love each and every one of them. This class can be hard sometimes, but then one of my babies does something new, and it reminds me of why I love working with babies. I plan on continuing with the classes to learn as much as I can about early childhood education.
